Connect a pitot static tube to GrayWolf′s auto-zeroing differential pressure (ΔP) sensors and directly display air velocity or volume airflow over a very wide measurement range. Use GrayWolf′s unique, extendable PIT–504 pitot tube, or select from a variety of standard pitot tubes.
Ellipsoidal tipped pitot-static tubes are an accurate way to measure airspeed in ducts, stacks and for aic calculation of Volume Flow Rate when used with GrayWolf′s AdvancedSense™, WolfPack™, Zephyr or IAQ Surveyor Pro instruments with ΔP sensors installed. Or use the convenient model PIT–504 with alternate brand ΔP meters.
GrayWolf supplies a choice of pitot-static tubes in fixed lengths of 30, 48 or 100 cm (12, 19 or 39 in) to suit your particular requirements. GrayWolf also manufactures a versatile 4 stage extendable pitot tube, supplied with case and accessories. This version expands from 40, to 72, to 105 to 140 cm (16, to 29, to 42 to 55 in), with the option to add up to 2 more 33 cm (13 in) extensions for a total length of 205 cm (81 in).
High quality stainless steel for a lifetime of service, with no scheduled pitot-static tube calibration required.
Available for use over an exceptionally wide air velocity and temperature range: airspeed testing up to 100 m⁄s (20,000 ft⁄m), at up to 800°C (1475°F).
